About
Based in the West Midlands, Scott Bench Taylor has been singing for over 12 years, providing lead vocals for several of the UK's top Soul bands, before going solo. He has worked with some of the entertainment greats, including Alexander O'Neal, Jools Holland, Ray Lewis, and the late Edwin Starr.
Scott Bench Taylor's tribute to Soul & Motown takes the audience on a musical history tour, wth exemplary performances of the hits from the true legends including Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, The Drifters and many more, before bringing the audience up to date with the more recent Soul hits from the likes of Lemar, Edwin Starr, Luther Vandross and Mark Ronson.
Clients
Scott's client list includes Goodyear, Rolls Royce Leisure, Bourne Leisure, Park holidays, several private holiday parks, numerous restaurants, hotels, nightclubs and private functions.
Booking
Scott's show is fully self contained. The basic show is either 2 x 45 or 1 x 60 minutes but can be adapted to suit the client/venue requirements. Scott is available directly or through any reputable booking agent, including:

I was at this gig! 14th Feb 2009 at the Rolls Royce club, Derby! Scott was on first of 3 acts which was a shame as he was great! Can you believe these people are dancing at 8pm! His vocal range is excellent. Go see him if you get a chance.

Scott was fantastic, the whole evening went well. His engagement with the audience was superb and his work rate equally. Choice of songs and voice were brilliant. Turned up on time and all the guests could not speak too highly of hm. Thank you, and we will be using him again for future events.

Scott Bench Taylor was another performer battling a cold, but it didn't seem to stop this smartly dressed young man from delivering a very lively spot. From his opening with 'Ain't too proud to beg' to 'I wish it would rain', he obviously has a talent for keeping it lively and it was a lovely delivery of a showcase set.
